One Door Closes And The Other One.... Still Won't Open

When you've been in the ICTC for hours, you tend to find the silliest things funny. For example...

Pull, Not Push. PULL, Dammit.
No matter how long you've been in UBD apparently, it will never, NEVER, stick that the entrance door is meant to be pulled open, not pushed, from the outside. Thus many of my fellow 1st years, and also multitudes of seniors embarrass themselves by making a racket of trying to push the damn door open. You'll get this clacking sound when you try. It usually goes, clack! then a noisy series of clacking from the individual trying to force the door open, then a pause, then the soft swish of the door being pushed open, and either an embarrassed giggle/a soft mutter of stupid door/the self-assured stride of someone trying to save face. Idiots.

The Door Is Locked, Use The Other One. The One Beside It. Yes That's The One.
Okay, this actually happened to me once. May I say again, ONCE. I get up, stretch, and pack up my stuff and head towards the door. I push the door open, at least tried to. Said clacking sound is emitted. I get confused. This time try to pull. No go. I feel a moment of panic. Then look at the door next to it. I cautiously push it. It opens. I breathe a sigh of relief and walk away while muttering stupid f*cking door.

Hands Off.... My Socket
When there's a lot of students going online in ICTC, and only 2 sockets, you get a techno-version of the saying "survival of the fittest". First come, first serve, but of course you can share if you've brought along a multipurpose plug or an extension, even. But you still get a lot of:
  • Students hungrily eyeing the occupied sockets
  • Fierce glares from those who sense invaders trying to encroach their "socketerial territory"
  • Pleading from one socketless person to a socket-hogger

I just noticed that there's a backpack lying next to my feet. And I don't think it belongs to the other guy who's at my table. Should I check if there's any ticking sounds....??

P.S: To Elvis: Ice-cream please. Popsicles are just plain obscene. But not Cornettos. =)

It's always the same: goin classes, skippin classes, going back home, coming back up, and then th cycle starts all over again. BORINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Ugh, ignore me, I'm not in a good mood all of the sudden. Gonna go d/l some songs now.

By Hook Or By Crook...

... is what my annoying Society lecturer loves to say.

"No matter what, by hook or by crook... "

"These people will, by hook or by crook..."

"By hook or by crook, they will..."

IT'S SO DAMNED ANNOYING!!!!!

Makes me wanna scream, FOR GOD'S SAKE WOMAN, YOU'RE NOT A HUNDRED, SAY "NO MATTER WHAT" LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!!!!!

Sheesh. Not only that, she likes to say i.e.

i.e. as in "that is", only she says i.e.

Like all the time, I'm not even kidding, I counted. Highest frequency so far, is ten times in one hour. (By hook or by crook, 6 times.)

What's wrong with saying "that is"????

F.R.E.A.K.

2 presentations on Saturday, maybe can postpone one of them. *crossfingers*

Gtg get some chow.

Bye-da-bee-bye. (I don't know where that came from)

My Thoughts...

.... on band names.

Specifically, Panic! At the Disco.

What does that mean kan? And why is the exclamation mark there? Why isn't it, "Panic at the Disco!"? Are you supposed to say PANIC! at the disco, emphasizing on the "panic"? Is that to deliver how panicked they are at the disco? Why are they panicked at the disco? And who the hell still goes to discos anymore? We go clubbing, thank you very much.

Hahaha this post is so full of nonsense.

I am so bored. I think I'm gonna change my blog template again.

Ciao.

Sleep Deprived

Urkkkk..... I'm... So... Sleepy..........

I just got back from bandar about an hout ago. I feel so groggy.......

Why's it suddenly so hazy anyway? And the weird thing is, I don't smell any smoke... I mean, last time I remembered that the smell of smoke is the first thing that you notice, because it creeps in through the cracks of every window and doors in your house, and basically the whole house will smell like after a bonfire or something.

Sorry if I am not as articulate as usual (if I ever was articulate to start with, anyway). I didn't sleep last night. The reason why can be put quite simply in mathematical terms:

Haze = Heat.
Heat + Hostel without Air-con = Sweating profusely (Gross, I know)

Lastly,

Backache + Uncomfortable Bed + Stuffy Hostel Room = Difficulty Sleeping

In a nutshell, I couldn't sleep. So what did I do?

I took a look at my room, at the mountain of clothes on my chair, on the mess of books and papers on my table, on the overflowing dustbin, and I felt this rage start boiling up inside me. I don't know why. I just got so frustrated looking at the mess. I grabbed the broom and started cleaning.

Half an hour later, my room was spotless. It was so liberating. Decluttering is like therapy. But it was weird that I was spring-cleaning at 1 am in the morning. :)

Then I started studying for my Logic & Thinking test. After I was done with that it was already 5.30am. I decided to just try to grab a couple of hours of sleep. But I couldn't, so I decided to do something else productive.

I started re-watching "My Lovely Sam Soon".

Haha. Hyun Bin is so hawttttt.

Anyway, I think I pretty much aced my Logic test, it was quite easy, even more so since I actually studied. Cool. Sleep deprivation has its benefits.

But then when I went up to my room during noon, because I had 3 hours free before my next class. I fell asleep.

And slept through my alarm.

And also slept through the missed calls.

So I missed the class.

Ugh. I'm so annoyed with the laptop. I can't sync my iPod anymoreeeeeeee. I mean, it should be the laptop that's the problem. Can't be my BRAND NEW iPod. Dear God, I hope not. I'd crrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I'm gonna go soon.

Vis, I thought you were over the whole Wii-wand thing. But I guess not. What do you mean it wasn't what you expected? What were you expecting?

No, wait, don't answer that.

wiggle that wii-wand

Hahahaha. Ciaoooo!!

And I Shall Call You Kratos...

Yesh Mam?

Oh my new babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy~~~

(Bella's new baby = Her one and only iPod Nano.)

I was thinking I should name it. And I want it to be male. Suddenly the name Kratos hit me. Hahahaha~

Man, nobody to share the joke with. Vis, you reading this? Hehe.

I don't think he's Filipino though... =)

Goin' up UBD later... Yayy.... Yeah mixed emotions. Hahah. It's like I'm not looking forward to it, but it's better than staying at home.

Signin off.
