Dry Spell

Damn. I almost had a heart attack over something so trivial. Was just randomly switching between windows, and decided to check who was online. Who knows ngam2 I go check my MSN, stupid person came online. I nearly pengsan. You see my English already hancur.

Aiya, after almost two months of nothing it comes off a bit of a shock you know? Not that I'm gonna chat with him or anything. LOL. OMG that would be so weird.

Yeah right, you're as "away" as I am gonna "be right back". HAHAHAHAHAHA omg I am so self-absorbed.

Yeesh, of all things I hate conflict. Especially UNNECESSARY ones. I really cannot tahan these stubborn people who really majal don't wanna lose when it's so totally unnecessary. I DON'T KNOW WHY I'M STILL SO SASAK ABOUT THIS AFTERNOON'S INCIDENT. I'm not even involved! So emo. =(

Yes I haven't been online in a while. Gawd, my life is so boring. The only blogworthy thing I've got is this funny little anecdote:

People: Vicki & Bella
Location: Guardian Pharmacy, The Mall, Gadong.
Specifics: Perusing shelves of deodorants.

Vicki: Hey look at this.
Bella: Whassat?
Vicki: Just look.

I took the small little pink bottle. Looking at it I spotted the words "Feminine Deodorant Spray" for the "delicate area".

Bella: Haha, so stupid.
Vicki: No, look at it properly.

Looking at it closely I spotted, written across it in black marker pen, the word:

T E S T E R

Bella: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Tell me, how to test that kind of thing?????

The Early Hours

Hey people!!! Look at the time!!! I don't know why I get struck by urges to blog at the weirdest times!! Heeheeeee!

I feel like being stupid today.

I should be off to lala-land now because my class starts at eight tomorrow. And full day tomorrow!! Ending only at six in the evening! OMG why am I up?! I am crazyyyy!!

Speaking of lala-land, did you guys know that that's my nick name? Not lala-land(though that would such a cool name when I marry a rich guy and he decides to open up a theme park in my honour. Be nice to me, I'll get you lifetime passes.) Lala, I mean. My family calls me that. Only my little sister calls me Jie-jie Bella. Hmm. What was the point of this. I do not know.

I'm typing in the dark now and I had a revelation: I cannot type very well in the dark. Where are the numbers?! Why is my laptop so black?!

Apparently it was the anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley recently. And Elvis impersonators everywhere are going all out, you know, impersonating. So I was like thinking, WHY is it that the population of Elvis impersonators so large? All over the world! Arabic Elvises! So weird!!

I had my first Spanish class last Saturday, and I am proud to say that I can recite the Spanish alphabet now!! Yay!!

Ok I really should go to sleep now. Also I forgot the other thing I wanted to blog about. Sigh.

Ok I lie, it is 4.19am and I can't sleep because I think I have food poisoning. Either that or I'm just super hungry.

I know, that doesn't make any sense. But I woke up with these horrible pains in my tummy.

Anyway the pain feels like how gastric pains would feel like. Except it's impossible that I am effing hungry! Because I was stuffing myself like crazy the whole day yesterday!!! And I know that if I eat something I would throw up, because I feel nauseous too. Actually it makes sense because I actually ate something that my sister said could've gone bad. But it seemed fine, honest!!

G: Eh, that one don't know whether still good or not
B: [scoffs] Seems fine to me. *chomps*
B: [mouth full] Anyway, what's the worst that can happen right?

You know what, I think that ad for the Shiny Disc Man is so sad!!! That's what he's called right? Or is it Super Shiny DVD man? I dunno. Well in case you don't know what I'm talking about, it's the one with the guy who tries to sell off DVDs but then everyone's like going, WE'VE SEEN IT ALREADY BITCH!

It's sad!!! Like, give the man a break already! I would've so bought DVDs from him. He's just trying to make a living selling off DVDs! And they didn't have to be so rude!!

You know, it's a classic example how some technology can render people obsolete.

In this case, Astro On Demand is making street vendors selling pirated DVDs obsolete!! It's sad!! I mean-

I was watching E! the other night. And I think the programme was "101 Most Starlicious Makeovers" and one of them was Britney Spears.

Yeah, I think it was a not-so-up-to-date programme. Because Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were still together. =(

Anyhooo, yeah, Britney Spears. They were saying how hers was a Starlicious Makeover because at first she was just this cutesy innocent teenybopper and suddenly she became this sex symbol? Anyway I quote one of the commentators[probably not the exact words, but the sentiment still there]:

"She just keeps getting better and better. She's hot, she's sexy, I really think that Britney is the hottest thing right now, and she's getting hotter by the minute. I mean, you just can't wait to see what she's gonna be in the future, because I think she's gonna be even hotter!"

I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Oh how the world was not ready for crazy Britney.

Another thing that I thought was really funny and ironic.

My mum for some reason still thinks I should apply for every scholarship there is available. I think it's because when I first started UBD, I was whining about how much I hated it there. Not that I love it now, but hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Anyway one day she was reading the newspaper and then she went, "Eh La, look it's a scholarship, go apply."

I took a look anyway just to humour her. What I saw at first was:

"BIBD SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME"

Then I took a closer look and saw at the end:

"FOR ORPHANS"

!!!!!!!!!!! My own mother! Like wanna curse me like that *touch wood*

I went like: OIIIII FOR ORPHANS LAH! I AM NOT AN ORPHAN!!

Mum: Oh is it? I didn't see wah.

Then she continued reading the paper while I stared at her in disbelief.

It was so funny how I was horrified. HAHAHAHAHA

Ok it's 5am now. Took me almost an hour to write this post. Thank God I have no classes later. Only this meeting for Spanish to set my timetable at noon.

Yes I am taking Spanish! *excitednesssss*
