Anyhoos.

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. Happy Birthday Daddy! lol. He's 61 btw, although he certainly doesn't look it. We went out for dinner and went to JP after that to just check out what's over there. Anyway I'm too lazy to talk much so here's some pictures. :)

Walking through JP really makes me feel nostalgic. I wish they had maintained the park. I remember having so much fun there! Made my childhood a lot more fun. sighhhh. It was especially sad seeing most of my favourite rides gone and empty. :(

My sisters and I were talking about it and they were like saying, "So sayang they don't maintain the rides, makes people takut to go." And I was so blur and said, "Why takut?" because in my opinion I was like yeah sure it ain't as pretty as it once looked but it's basically the same.

G: *looking at me incredulously* Hellooo? You wanna go on the rollercoaster that has been poorly maintained?? like "So fun! Wheeeee- AARGHHHHH!!!!!" when something comes loose or something

HAHAHAHHAHA that made me laugh so hard. And we were saying that "Pusing Lagi" wouldn't be called that anymore, it would be "Pusing Sekali, Terplanting Kesana" HAHAHAHHAHA I am giggling so hard as I type this, oh mann so funny. HAHAHAH

Sistahs

My little sister is up in Bandar for the week, since she's having her holidays and she's bored at home.

I don't really mind the company, it beats waking up to an empty house most of the time. Also she's such a good little girl who does the dishes ^^ Plus, she does things that I'm too lazy to do *looks down in shame*

I don't have privacy though, but meh, it's just for a week.

I had to work tonight, but everyone else went to the arcade and went k-boxing :(

Anyhoos they told me that they were in the booth singing, but the next booth were full of girls who were screeching and shrieking along to the songs and Vicki got annoyed and yelled out in frustration: "EH TERUK JUA!"

Funny thing was ngam2 got lull in the song so she was pretty audible LOL

I wish I had been there :'( They went DDR-ing and played what looked like rhythm bongo drumming. FUN! I love rhythm games! I am so good at them *hero pose*

There are Krispy Kremes in the kitchen! I'm so tempted to have another one (I already had two earlier this afternoon) :( Alternatively, I could also have Koko Krunch, or the still unopened tub of Cadbury Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream in the freezer.

Well actually I have slept without it, there was that time when I neglected it in favour of that stupid Taz pillow. Which I still own btw, but I prefer to kick it to the bottom of the bed. lols. I prefer falling asleep hugging something. :)

I'm back to being bored again. I feel like I wanna go out and watch a movie, NOW!! Seriously, I do. Any movie would just do. Any movie at all. But somehow, I doubt there are any worth watching. But no horror. Horror movies just gives me nightmares. And they are depressing. Sometimes I kesian those people die for no reason at all and sometimes I feel sorry that these characters are so, and I mean it, so stupid. They are like lambs to the slaughter. It's clear that danger is just around the corner, why don't u just run beech? Run!!! GAWDDD!!! Your silicone is not going to save you from death!! Half of the time I get so worked up I feel like strangling each and everyone of them and make it easy for the villain.

Secrets

I was thinking earlier this afternoon, how only a selected few knows my deepest darkest secrets. And I also realised how much power this gives them. It's scary, but also strangely liberating.

Sometimes you meet that one person that you want to just whisper all your secrets to. Because to know your secrets, is to know you.

When you give away your secrets, you give away a piece of yourself.

I wish I could take back those secrets that I whispered so carelessly to the wrong people. I can never get that back. That little piece of me will always remain in their possession. It frustrates me.

I watched Kung Fu Panda!! This time I really watched it at the cinema with mi familia. It's quite good, they really managed to make the concept of animals doing kung-fu quite cool. Plus, the plotline ain't too bad, and it's funny too! :)

And hey, do you guys feel sleepy after watching a movie? I always do. HAHAHA

My eyes are itching and stinging right now so I can't say more. Talk more later.

Reminiscence ft. Ronni Marlipono

I had dinner with Rindy Windy last night. Basically we gossiped (about other people because our own lives are so boring, lol) and then we started reminiscing about the good ol' days in PJN. So fun, those times, when we barely had anything to worry about. And everything was so much easier. And we were all so much happier. *sigh*

Anyway, recalling some of our antics back in PJN:

• That time when we were doing those gas tests or whatever, I can't remember. But one of those tests required that we test the gas with a damp litmus paper. Rinni and Deidre (who were lab partners) were like, "Is the litmus paper damp?" And they were panicking because the gas was already escaping and they started yelling at each other (and the rest of the class) SOMEBODY DAMP THE LITMUS PAPER! SOMEBODY DAMP THE LITMUS PAPER! and suddenly Rinni started singing like some Broadway musical, "Somebody damp the litmus paper~ Somebody damp the litmus paper~" I think I laughed till I cried that day. LOL. Also it just occurred to me that "damp" is not a verb. :P
• That time when I almost set myself on fire. I reached over for something and I remembered thinking, "Wow, my arm feels so hot." and I looked down and realised the bunsen burner was right under my arm. lol. It melted my baju kurung a bit :s
• That time when Rinni broke the glass lens and Tashry took the blame for it (and habis kena goreng by Miss Chin :S :S awww so nice of him to do that)
• OH OH OH RIN REMEMBER THE SILVER BOOK!!!! OMG where is it now????
• HAHAHAHHAHA RIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember POA???? "Isn't it-ah?" LMAO!!! I remembered that time when she asked me, "Annabella, are you Chinese?" and Rinni was like, "No, no, the Chong is just there for decoration"
• "Cheh-mistry, bah, kamu ada blajar Cheh-mistry?" Rinni:"Awu, chu-dah" HAHAHAHAHHA
• When Mr. Kwan called me Chong that one time, and Rinni started calling me that too. "Eh, Chong!"
• Fairuz's habit of singing everything. "Foolscap paper!~" "Annabella Chong Suk Mei~ Annabella! Annabella! Annabella~"

I'm watching Private Practice. :) Very shrink-y. (Everyone has issues here) Also, makes you cry every episode. My eyes feel grimy.

And yes, I've finished Chuck. Don't judge me, it only had 13 episodes :( Chuck gets annoying, but I still think you should watch it because it's so funny.

My sleeping pattern as you can see, is normalising/getting screwed up again. Normal by my standards because I used to sleep at 2am all the time. Screwed up by normal people's standard, I had been sleeping at 11ish/midnight for the past week. Cheh. Well anyway it is 1.32am now :)

I'm in super good and random mood. WAHAHAHAHA. Tickets to Bali are booked! Now I can't be bothered to worry about accommodations or whatever we're gonna do there. What I know I wanna do:

• SEE DOLPHINS! omg I wantttttt!!!
• Maybe day trip to the volcano?? They say you can boil an egg with the heat or something there. Volcano-boiled egg please!! :)
• Try some water sports. that do not require me to know how to swim. YES THIS TRIP IS GONNA BE SO WASTED ON ME BECAUSE I CAN'T SWIM :S Meh!!!
• Shop? Maybe?? I don't know what I can buy at Bali other than fake branded goods. Adibas!! Bellabong!! Puta!! lol. :)
• Club? Also not sure.
  
• SEE SHIRTLESS HOT BOYS! I am planning to just hang around at the beach with my camera. LOL!!!
• Watch a Bali sunset. :)

Errr........ Oh yeah, when I was back at home last week I realised that I inherited quite a lot of personality traits from my father. Namely:

The ability to rant
My father can go on and on and on and on and on and on, you do not wanna be trapped in a room with my dad. lol.

My short attention span
My dad was talking to me about something over dinner and he asked me a question (can't remember what atm) and I answered him and he suddenly said to my mum, "Why is the beef blah blah blah..." and I am left neglected :( *fidget fidget*

My lameness
My little sister related to me this. My father was talking about the American Idol finalist, David Archuleta, and he said to my sister:

Dad: You know if someone ever asks me what the name of the runner up to American Idol is, I'm gonna answer David ACHOOOOOOOOO-leta!
Little sister: .....................

Apparently he had a giggling fit over this, lol.

Blind As A Bat

... yessirree bob I am as blind as a bat. Well, at least bats have those ultrasonic thingamajigs that they emit so they know when there's something in their way. Plus they can fly. What can I do besides walk into a wall.

Seriously I think the degree in my left eye has increased because I now have trouble seeing at night (even during the day it bothers me) Anyway, I have to get my eyes checked but it's such a hassle, because you usually have to go without glasses/contacts for at least half an hour before they can get an accurate reading of your eyesight. So what, I walk to the mall blindly lah? Once I had to take off my contacts and walk around Seria town for 30 minutes. On the way someone waved to me and I had no idea who it was but I waved back.

"HELLO WEIRDLY SHAPED BLOB! LONG TIME NO SEE!!"

Grrrr. When I can afford it I wanna have Lasik surgery! But even then I must get over my fear of having something sharp near my eye. *squirm squirm* Can't they do it when I'm unconscious or something? lol. Just pry my eyelids open! I don't care! HAHAHA

Oh this Bali thing is giving me a headache. It's venting tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime:

One Of Those Days

Feeling so empty and listless nowadays. Also can't seem to stop sleeping today. Feeling sleepy right now even though I've been sleeping most of the days away (intermittent sleep, but still)

It's been only 2 weeks since holidays have begun. :S NOT that I want it to end, but the two months of NOTHINGNESS stretches out before me and I'm just like WTH AM I GONNA DO!!

Anyhoos. I think I'm gonna take a short nap or I'll fall asleep at work later...

EDIT:

I can't sleep... I have a headache now.

When I was trying to sleep, my mind kept flashing back to yesterday. I was out with my family yesterday morning and at one point we were at my aunt's place where my parents chatted with my relatives/acquaintances and as usual I tuned out everything. (And also, 2 people commented that I seem to have gained weight. Whoopay! Just what I wanted to hear.)

Anyhoos, I was sitting next to my mum, and at one point she started playing with my hair while talking to my dad. And then she began absentmindedly stroking my hair, and at that point I just felt like I was gonna burst into tears. I missed those days where I could just cry and cry and my mum will make everything go away. (Yonks ago, probably when I was 4 or 5) I wish I can just hug my mum and be somehow teleported back to that time, and she can make everything go away; my cynicism, my worries, my unhappiness, my pessimism... Everything so that I can be that quiet little girl again and the only worry I'd have would be if there would be onions in my dinner later.

I hate growing up and having to deal with reality.

I Am A Loser

omg my bedtime has gotten earlier and earlier as the holidays progress.

I actually fell asleep at 8.30pm last night. YES A SATURDAY NIGHT! Granted, my weekends are always sad, but last night's was probably the earliest I've turned in. And it wasn't even out of boredom, but I was actually sleepy!! A delirious kind of sleepy, like it was pills-induced (I'm still wondering if someone slipped something in my drink, lol) I was incoherent and could barely keep my eyes open. BUT!! I kept waking up every 2 hours or so. Anyway, as a result of my early sleeping times these days, I'm usually awake at out of bed by 6am. Unheard of! :O

I am actually sleepy as I type this. :( SADNESS! Well I had a whole rant planned out in my head, but I am too sleepy to remember. Will probably wake up around 2-ish anyways, so I'll edit later, hehe. Maybeeeeee. :D

EDIT:: I was right, wasn't I? I woke up at 2-ish right on the dot. My body clock may be screwed up, but it sure is predictable :D

Razan has a thing about orange. The colour, not the fruit. SPEAKING OF WHICH!!!! Which one do you think came first? The colour or the fruit? Did they name the fruit because it was orange (like the colour) or did they name the colour orange because the fruit was orange.
