Twilight

Actually this post is just going to be about Robert Pattinson. OMG! I am so in love with him now. There are very few actors that can make me swoon and lately Jake's been MIA so I've fallen out of love with him and am now infatuated with ROBERT PATTINSON!

I cry from the sheer beauty that is thee, sweet Robert~

I mean how perfect is it that the main character in Twilight is called Bella! Whenever my name passed through his lips I thought that I could die happy. HAHAHAHAAH!! No seriously, he is so hot. I've always thought that he was good-looking (even as Cedric in Harry Potter I noticed) but omg. He just oooooozzeedddd sexxxxinesssssss. RAWR! He is so gorgeous. I hope I dream about him tonight. hahahahahahahahahhahah *dreamy smile*

Twilight wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Vampires are such sexy creatures in that movie. :/

Too lazy to talk so much. Ok bye bye

For You A Thousand Times Over

Hello!

Just thought I should update on some stuff, cos my previous post wasn't really much of an update. So I had my last paper last saturday and it didn't go as well as it could've. Friday night I managed to get a migraine which made it really hard to read through Tax one last time so I took an actifast for it. Two hours later my head was still pounding and I couldn't do much except lie on my bed and groan so I took another one, which thankfully kicked in after almost an hour. Then I just read through some of the chapters so I could remember all the details (it's annoying cos there are a lot of rules and treatment for different stuff) but after a while I decided to sleep and wake up at 6 to finish off the last remaining chapters. I set my alarm at 5.45 (15 minutes for me to loll about in bed before actually getting up)

I woke up feeling strangely refreshed... looked towards my window... 'Wow, it's mighty bright for 5.45am....' Pause. Strange, I don't remember my alarm ringing................. holy crap. I make a scramble for my phone and saw: 8.13am.

My exam starts at 9am. At this time I am usually already at the examination hall.

So I scramble to the toilet, and washed up as quickly as I could. Threw on a baju kurung, collected my stuff. Drove like a maniac to uni. Anyway, my hair was in disarray and my head was still feeling a little stuffy. I didn't manage to finish my revision, and yeah. I was very upset.

I'm okay right now, cos really, I have no one to blame but myself. Anyway next time I'm not taking more than one actifast. No way no how. I'll take the pain.

---

I watched Bolt sometime last week with Tzen. (Oh and Nana came over to say hi, but I couldn't tell who it was at first cos it was soooooo dark, so she was like chattering on and on while I was like who the eff is this? hahahha)

ANYWAY.

9/10!!!!!!!!

IT IS SOOOOO FRICKIN HILARIOUS!!!! And although it pains me to say this, but it is probably better than Wall-e. I sooooo recommend it people, and I wanna watch it again!!!! I was laughing throughout the whole movie, except for one part where we teared up because it was sad :'( but it is so very good. LOVED IT. I WANNA WATCH IT AGAIN!!!! I promise that you would love it.

---

I just finished reading 'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini. I really don't know whether it's better than 'A Thousand Splendid Suns', but I think I found The Kite Runner sadder... It's just so... I don't know. It's very good. I put down the book feeling happy and sad at the same time. I think the theme of the whole book was redemption. Could you possibly make up for the sins that you've committed? Again, it is based in war-torn Afghanistan. It's very sad to read all the atrocities that was committed in the book, because it is probably committed in real life. So horrible. I felt so disgusted and outraged.

Okay haha, better not give away too much, pero este libro es estupendamente. :) :)

I have a few other books that I've not read yet so I'm looking forward to those.

---

Okay I guess that's all.... I'm wondering where everyone is because even though it's the hols there doesn't seem to be much activity online.. but then again I haven't been online much either. haha.

See ya.

Hello hello

I wasn't planning to blog at all today but my blog is sad and empty.

Hello you who's reading! :)

Anyway.

YAY FOR OBAMA! lols. I don't know why I feel happy that he won (would affect me in no way whatsoever) but I know I'm happy that McCain didn't win, being pro-war and all that. Obama would mean less deployments to Iraq! NO WAR PPL! *randomly political*

Also, hey, the first African-American President! :')

Okay I should go now. I'VE BEEN PROCRASTINATING!!

xoxo bella

ps: oh yeah, I didn't get to blog the other day but 4th November (Tuesday) was my sister Gloria's birthday! So a happy belated birthday to her!! (I know you read my blog ting :D SHOUTOUT!)

Messed Up

Hello people.

My revision's going really slowly, I always end up sleeping or doing something else I dunno. Sigh.

Not doing too well.

I was feeling a little stressed out a week before which resulted in me breaking out in hives/rashes... tis not pretty :( I'm feeling a little ugly now. Yeah yeah it happens to me when I get superly stressed out.

I'm frustrated! I am doing revision. I am doing work. It's just that I always leave them halfway, grrr!!!!

I'm gonna have to go and do FM in a bit, but I'm feeling sleepy now... but no, I must do it before I sleep!

I'm feeling a bit depressed somewhat. I don't know.

Anyway.

Watch this!!

He tapes electric stimulators, looking like the same type used for electroshock therapy, to his face, and syncs them with his music so his involuntary facial contortions match up with the tune.

Source: geekologie!!

This made me want to laugh and cry at the same time!! It looked totally retarded but it was scary because I thought his face was gonna melt off or something!! I mean this totally falls under the category of WTF?!!!

Ok time to go.

I miss you guys :)(friends who I have not seen/talked to in a while.)

BORED!: The Seventh

Hola, I had such a lazy day today.

Barely moved. And did not touch my books!! :S I was planning to revise but arghh too lazyyy

I'm bored..................

We're feeding a stray kitten atm, it's been starving, and going blind in one eye :(

Vicki and I are NOT cat lovers, but we couldn't help but get sad looking at it!! It'll meow and meow pitifully and look up at you with one of its eyes glued shut *heart shatters*

LOL

but yeah, we're both allergic to cat hair so we can't really take care of it properly, but at least we're feeding it. It's so tiny and cute!!!!

SPEAKING OF CUTE!!

WEEHHH!!! so cute!!

This movie is SOOO adorable, I love it!!! 8/10 :)

The storyline is quite unique, and it got cheesy in some parts, but you can't help but go AWWWWWWW!!!!! Plus it's funny! :)

I really recommend it, especially to you girls who are suckers for sweet stories :)

A Guide To Hugs!

Hugs are an important expression of affection. By hugging someone, you remind them that you care about them and support them.

Steps

  1. Approach the person. Depending on the person's relationship to you, you might want to approach differently:
    • Family Hug: Approach kindly, but not too emotionally.
    • Friend Hug (girls): Approach caringly, sometimes humorously, and smile.
    • Friend Hug (guys): Approach quickly, usually not looking them in the eye.
    • Crush Hug: Approach carefully, but do not seem shy. Smile slightly and perhaps say a caring word or two.
    • Lover Hug: It doesn't matter who starts this; either can make it just as romantic. When approaching, put your hands on their shoulders and look them in the eyes. Say you love them, how much you care for them, and how much you are loving every second with them. Then fall into each other and hug with all your heart.

  2. Embrace. Lean forward and wrap your arms around the person.
    • Family Hug: You can keep talking when hugging; it will not ruin the momentum. Where you place your hands is not important; the hugged won't think it over too much. Press gently; it is not necessary to have head-contact. Stroke your hands quickly across the top of the hugged's back. Smile when letting go.
    • Friend Hug (girls): Close your eyes and think about how much you love your friend when hugging. Press as much as you feel like. (But don't squish!) Do not clap the hugged on the shoulders or such; it's too masculine and some girls think you don't like them if you do it the guys' way.
    • Friend Hug (guys): Embrace strongly, and clap each other on the top of your backs. If it's an emotional moment, keep in the hugged position for a brief moment and do not clap each other's backs.
    • Crush Hug: Press the hugged warmly towards you. If you are a man, remember that it is more masculine and more protective to fold your arms under hers. Her arms should be around your neck, and you should be embracing her around the waist. When pressing her against you, you can lift her up a bit, pressing her chest and upper stomach against yours. Keep it in that position for a while, and then let go. Look her in the eyes when you separate and continue the conversation naturally.
    • Lover Hug: 1) Males: Carefully sliding your hands down from her shoulders, put them on her waist and slide them around her lower back. Put your head on her shoulder and press her towards you for as long as you like. If you want to, you can give her a small massage with your hands, and try to warm her. When separating, you can look into her eyes, smile genuinely and, if the situation is fitting, kiss her. 2) Females: Extend your arms toward him and hold them around his neck and shoulders. Lean as close as possible and press your torso against his. In situations of extreme intimacy, interlocking your leg in his is appropriate. Avoid holding your arms below his shoulders and/or embracing strongly and tensely.

  3. Don't hug too tightly. The best way to judge how tight or loose to hug is to let whomever your hugging tell you by how hard they squeeze. If they are soft, be soft back; if they like bear hugs and squeeze tightly, do the exact same back (but don't suffocate him/her).
  4. Don't let go too early. A hug is a powerful way to communicate your caring for another person, as it can feel great and greatly improve one's mood. If someone hugs you, they may want a long, loving hug (maybe they are upset or down), so just go along with it and hug them until they let go or loosen their hold.

Tips

  • Be welcoming when you hug. If either of you requested the hug, then be warm and loving and just make it feel like the person you're hugging is safe from anything else and that you and whoever are the only people that matter at the moment.
  • Make sure you're clean and showered.

Warnings

  • Do not confuse a lover hug with a friend hug. Things might get complicated and awkward.
  • Unless you've hugged the person before, don't hug them without asking first. In addition, use your best judgment in choosing when and where to hug someone. There are certain situations where one might be embarrassed to be seen hugging someone else.
  • Hug only when the person you want to hug has their arms out, they may not want to be hugged if their arms aren't out.

And on another related issue (I find it hilarious):

How To Hug A Tree

  1. Find yourself a quiet park, forest, or woodland area.
  2. Walk among the trees until you feel comfortable in their presence.
  3. Feel the different bark textures with the palms of your hands.
  4. Smell the scent of the various woods.
  5. Absorb their life's energies as you look upwards to the sprawling branches overhead.
  6. Find the perfect tree that fits your mood. You will know which one is right for you.
  7. Vertical Tree Hug: Encircle it with your arms while gently pressing your cheek to the trunk being careful not to scratch your face. Squeeze tightly. Sigh deeply. Be one with your tree.
  8. Full Body Tree Hug: Sit upon the ground wrapping your legs around the base of the tree and at the same time embracing it with your arms.
  9. Up in the Air Tree Hug: Climb a tree. Sit upon a strong limb and straddle it with your legs. Bend forward and place your belly against it while wrapping your arms about it.

Tips:

  1. Feel free to hug more than one tree if the mood strikes. Besides, other trees might get jealous.
  2. You may like to take home a fallen leaf or nut as a keepsake from your new friend.
  3. Be sure to return each season to visit your tree. And don't be afraid to talk to it as trees are good listeners.

Yes I've gotten lazy. I don't rant anymore. :D

Sick!

I'm sick~

Sigh.

Anyhoos.

I watched The Dark Knight last night. WHOO HOO!! I felt like the movie took forever to end though but that might be because I was sick eheheeheh

Heath Ledger was FRICKIN' AWESOME as The Joker.

Awesome.

He managed to freak me out and make me laugh at the same time! And!! He really really came off as a crazy maniac. I think he may be one of the coolest villains ever. :D His voice, his mannerisms (like the way he would occasionally lick his lips with a flick of his tongue, was so subtle, yet so creepy), the way he talked, and his FREAKY LAUGHTER. He was soooo good.

His stories of where he got his scars freak me out. hehehehehe. I don't like knives :S

Malas wanna say so much lah. My head feels like it's stuffed with cotton :P

Hancock

Went to watch Hancock with Ryan earlier.....

(I don't like the poster)

And I'm not too fond of the movie either.

I liked it up to the middle. Then it just got weird/lame/meh.

I really liked Hancock when he was all cranky and drunk and stuff, hehehe he was pretty funny.

Woman: *disgusted* I can smell the liquor on your breath!!!
Hancock: 'coz I've been drinkin', bitch!

HAHAHAHA that made me laugh.

But yeah, not a great movie. I might actually prefer Wanted (but that's just because I love the shootouts <3 )

So I don't really have much to say.......... It really wasn't as good as I expected.

Next movie of interest? The Dark Knight? I'm not sure if I want to watch this movie. I think it might depress me (Heath Ledger! Waaahh!!!) but I probably will lah. I dunno.

Feeling a bit ..........................

Looking forward to getting out for a while.

Wanted

I watched Wanted last night. :)

Overall rating: 6/10

I'm a bit conflicted about the movie. I don't know. I don't hate it, but I don't like it either. What I do like about the movie however!!!!

1) Beautifully choreographed violence LOVES IT!!!!!!
2) James McAvoy YUMMMM!!!!

:D

I was trying to find a clip of my faaaavvooourriiiteee scene in the movie. It was a kick-ass factory shoot out. SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's just so indescribable, but unfortunately I can't find a clip of it :(

Here's a trailer though, you can catch a bit of the scene at 1:58 :)

And the movie might not make sense to you. But bear in mind it's based on a graphic novel :P

Oh and as usual, I managed to guess the plotline again, I watch way too many movies methinks, lol.

Oh and my second favourite thing:

Three whoops for JAMES MCAVOY!!!

WHOOP!

WHOOP!!

WHOOP!!!

:)

hehehehehehe

Ok that is all

And I Shall Be Called...

Oh Lordy Sean "Puffy" Combs is a confused confused man.

via PerezHilton:
WE'RE CALLING HIM IDIOT FROM NOW ON

The Queen King of the name change is at it again!

Sean John Combs doesn't have a new nickname this time, though. He's resorted to going old school.

He's bringing Puffy back! Puff Daddy to be exact.

And on his MySpace page, Puff Daddy writes, "This is your boy Puff Daddy!!! Yes Puffy Daddy, the King of the Remix is back with O'Neal Mcknight and Jermaine Dupri on the "Check Your Coat Remix"!!! Visit my myspace page to listen to it NOW."

And in O'Neal Mcknight's single Check Your Coat, Puff Daddy raps, "They call me Puff Daddy…. he's back. Yeah you heard me right. I said Puff Daddy. I'm about to back on that Puff Daddy shit."

We're just all confused.

It's like Diddy - P. Diddy. - Sean John - Sean John Combs - Sean Combs - Puffy - Puff Daddy - Puffy Sean?

From now on, maybe we should just call him Puff-Sea. The FF's are silent of course!

LOL! Anyways someone left a comment on the post which really cracked me up.

"he should just put diddy and puff together. i like the sound of piffy."

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA oh that's so funny :D

Ooooohhh I wonder what I should call myself if I were to give myself a nickname... But people already call me all sorts of names now:
  • Anna Banana
  • Bella Bonjella
  • Annabelly
  • Lala
  • La
  • NA! (Yes usually in this panicked tone, NA!)
  • Bell
  • Berra (I can't remember who started calling me this, I know Razan did, and maybe Vis??? lol)
I can be the next Diddy! or Puffy! HAHAHAHA :D

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Wokays! I went to watch Narnia last night with Tzen, Mandy, Ryan and Kok Hou.

My verdict?
I LOOOOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9/10 for me!!!!

But wait, my reasons for loving it is a bit =_____=

I loved it for mostly superficial reasons. Namely:
  • Lovely effects
  • Awesome battle scenes (It was a cross between LOTR and 300. I love slow-mo's :D)
  • Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian)
  • William Moseley (Peter Pevensie)
  • Skandar Keynes (Edmund Pevensie)
MWUHAHAHAHAH! :D

I too malas wanna talk about the movie. Well basically, I was more focusing on all the eye candy. :) :) :) Plus it was funny in some bits. Again, I think everyone in the theatre wanted to kill us. We noisy girls, lol.

OK!! Now I shall talk about the hot boys.

Hot Boy #1: BEN BARNES

HELLO!!!! (Btw!! He was in Stardust as young Dunstan.)

You are a prince in my heart Ben Barnes <3

OK!!! Moving on....

Hot Boy #2: WILLIAM MOSELEY

:D :D :D

Oh lookie Ben Barnes in the background. Heheh.

He's our age girls!! Born 27 April 1987 :D

Hot Boy #3: SKANDAR KEYNES
Literally, still a boy. I just think he'll be magnificently good-looking when he gets older :)

Awwww he's so cute! Don't call me a pervert!! He's turning 18 next year :P

Okay okay I'm sorry I can't help it. I like to look at beautiful things. :) Btw!! A treat for you guys:

Anna Popplewell (as Susan Pevensie). She has really grown up!! I think she's gorgeous. She has the smallest waist!!! Plus she got to kiss Ben Barnes!! :O The lucky thing. :)

Okay I am so tired of posting pictures now. But it's all about the eye candy eh? :)

Laters people!

The Happening

I was told last night that M. Night Shyamalan (of The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable, The Village People fame) was coming out with a new movie: The Happening. I was mildly interested because I do love most of his movies (I can NOT decide which is the best: The Sixth Sense or Signs). I found 'The Village' alright, even though almost everyone I know hated it. 'Lady In The Water' was just... I don't think I've ever watched that movie all the way through. :s

Anyway I was unpleasantly surprised by what the plot for 'The Happening' was like. I stumbled onto the trailer on I Watch Stuff. I mean, sure, it was R-Rated, but I thought it was like for nudity and some violence.

OMG.

It was like... so so so gross. I'd rather watch all the Saw movies back-to-back than watch this movie. It's like some kind of strange phenomenon happening that causes people to kill themselves in strange, gruesome ways.

Example: free falling off a building, laying right in front of a working tractor (!!!!!!), hanging themselves, and and and the last scene I saw on the trailer was this guy just idly sitting in the park sawing a knife through his wrist. SLOWLY. Like you can practically imagine him humming while doing that.

HOLY CRAP M. NIGHT!! Why are you so sick!?!?!? Ooooh I know, is it because your last movie got such horrible response that you wanna inflict something more horrible onto the world as retaliation?

NO WAY AM I WATCHING THAT!! I don't even know whether it will be shown in Brunei. :s

Well here's the trailer if you wanna torture your eyes.

This is a different trailer than the one I watched. But still as gross, don't you worry *sarcasm*

xoxo bella

ps: Not even my love for Mark Wahlberg will make me watch this movie.

Iron Man

No more exams!!!! *celebrates* Well my Spanish paper was more difficult than I thought, mostly because I couldn't remember some of the vocabulary. I wanted to describe my friends, but I couldn't remember how to say happy or funny, so I said, "My friends are very pleasant." So dumb. Anyhoos, even though I managed to get only one hour of sleep, I decided to watch Iron Man with Sheena, Alyaa, Amie and Tzen along with the boys: Razan, Meow-wee Mawi, and Nazi.

What do I think?

Meh, I guess I'd give it an 8/10.

It's actually quite good, but a bit too predictable and cliched in my opinion? Plus many loopholes in the story. Robert Downey Jr. is surprisingly likeable in this movie (I've always thought he was a bit of an ass, but I have to admit, he's a pretty good actor.) Well in the beginning of the movie his character was definitely very jerk-like and ass-y. But he was funny. (I found the way he walked/stood a bit gay-ish though, I think his ass juts out a bit, lol) The movie is funny, with great effects! And there's definitely gonna be a sequel :D

Gwyneth Paltrow..... :S :S :S

Not at all likeable. Such a useless and stupid character.

I LOVE TERENCE HOWARD! :D He awesome.

Anyhoos, I wanna watch Narnia next :)

---

BTW!!! The pothole in the road near my place has evolved! The pothole just popped out maybe a week ago? Anyhoos, last week the pothole became two potholes. And now it's a trench!! lol. I find it really funny, though annoying because the trench takes up more than half the road so it's quite a tight fit :S

Ahh, I forgot what else I wanted to talk about. OH! I realised today I was a passenger in many cars: Mike's car, Tzen's car, Amie's car, and Sheena's car. HAHA pointless fact :P

xoxo bella

ps: HOLIDAYSSS!!!!!!!!!! And Sheena+Tzen+Bella+movie= noisy bunch of bimbos :P

Police in Oldham County say a father accidentally shot and killed his 14-year-old son Sunday in a hunting accident.

The father and son were turkey hunting. Police say Steven Schmidthuber got separated from his father, David, 30 minutes after they went into the woods.

Police say the father thought his son was a turkey, so he fired at him. No charges are expected to be filed against David Schmidthuber. [source.]

Tengo Mucho Hambre

I'm SOOOO hungry!!

Blah. But look at the time, I'm wondering if it's wise to eat at this time of night.

Anyhoos.

Managed to finally do some studying today, although I didn't have much time. I went to uni today because Dr. Paolo had invited us to watch a Spanish movie, The Motorcycle Diaries. I forgot what it was called in Spanish :S

It was... okay, I guess. The movie was basically a biography about Che Guevara before he was Che Guevara. lol.

Don't know who he is?

Does this guy look familiar?

For those who didn't know, Che Guevara was one of the leaders of the Cuban revolution. I think. I dunno :P

Well anyway, what I liked about the movie, was that it was funny. Hahah.

And also:

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

mwah mwah! you very hot!

A scene from the movie

That is Gael Garcia Bernal, the actor who plays Ernesto de Guevara (later known as "Che").

HOLY MOTHER OF- I JUST FOUND A NUDE PHOTO OF HIM

Well, not exactly full-frontal nude, but helloooooo bootay~

Hahahahah ok ok. But he is muy guapo, no? :D

I Hate When Sh*t Like This Happens

This is just too sad.

Father Kills Son in Hunting Accident After Mistaking Him for Turkey

BELLE PLAINE, Minn. — The Sibley County Sheriff says that a man who accidentally shot and killed his 9-year-old son while they were hunting apparently mistook the boy for a turkey.

Sheriff Bruce Ponath says that Anthony Klaseus of Belle Plaine and his son Hunter were hunting turkey about three miles west of Belle Plaine around 6:30 p.m. Saturday when Klaseus shot his son in the chest with a 12 gauge shotgun.

Klaseus dialed 911 on his cell phone. Emergency responders pronounced the boy dead at the scene.

"He was absolutely panicked. That would be an understatement," Ponath said. "Very distraught."

Ponath said the shooting was an accident but that his department is continuing to investigate the circumstances.

How effing sad is that??? I'm not strongly opposed to hunting (that would be a bit hypocritical of me IMO), but I find it stupid when you bring you NINE YEAR OLD son along with you. Guns!!! And nine year olds!!! Isn't that obviously wrong????

I feel so mad. :(

xoxo bella

ps: HOW THE FUCK DO YOU MISTAKE YOUR SON FOR A TURKEY?!?!? WHY WAS HE NOT BESIDE YOU AT ALL TIMES??? I'M SO EFFING MAD!!!

Goodbye Heath

Heath Ledger (1979 - 2008)

"I feel good about dying because I feel alive through her."

- Heath Ledger speaking fondly of his daughter, Matilda Rose

I watched 10 Things I Hate About You the other night, and I got teary. Especially during that scene where he sang to Julia Stiles, "Can't Take My Eyes Off You.." It was sad to watch a silly and sweet Heath Ledger, still young and such... Anyway. The world says goodbye to Heath Ledger..

Cloverfield

Cloverfield! I like and I hate!

**SPOILERS AHEAD***

Oh gawd, what can I say about this movie???????

The brainchild of J.J. Abrams, the acclaimed creator of Lost and Alias.

Naturally, wonderful graphics, considering it's all shot like it's on video cam and thingamajig.

Very very dizzying. I was laughing at the three guys sitting at the front row in front of us. They were like clutching their heads in agony. So funny.

Why I like Cloverfield:
- Very suspenseful, it literally had me squealing and sitting at the edge of my seat
- Great cinematics. The monster scaarrryyyyyyyyy.
- A bit of funny parts. Hud (the guy holding the camera for 98% of the movie. 98% pasal at the end he mati. Chewed up and spit out by the monster. He died, but the camera survived. Go figure.) provided most of the comedy.
- I love J.J. Abrams okkkk. I've always loved Lost, and I did like Alias (even though I stopped watching it after a while)

Why I absolutely hate Cloverfield:
- So very the cliffhanger.
- I pening.
- Again with the cliffhanger, in my opinion the worst flaw of the movie. Ok, so you're trying to make it realistic as in we're watching a video recording right? But still... I STILL DO NOT EFFING KNOW WHAT THE TERM "CLOVERFIELD" MEANS! Also, I don't know whether they managed to kill the monster or not. We do not know where it came from. We don't even know WHAT it is. Monster? Alien? Government experiment? WE DON'T KNOW AND WE NEVER WILL! Unless got Cloverfield 2: The other video. LOL.
- Characters are kind of... stupid annoying paloi no comment.
- A bit unrealistic in some parts. Beth, a character who only appears at the beginning and the end of the movie, somehow survives being stabbed clean through with a metal pole and also a helicopter crash and still manages to run fast. I dunno. Adrenaline? But she was bleeding steadily for an hour or so.
- A bit cornayyyyyy. The love story part. Seriously. It's not believable. Maybe character build-up was the problem. I just don't believe it. A rational person would've already escaped. I don't believe that he loves her enough to go through all the shit that he went through.

Okay I know I've got more comments than these but I am tireddddddddd. Over and out.

xoxo bella

ps: Much love to Ryan for treating movie tickets! Stop arguing with me about Cloverfield. We must agree to disagree.

EDIT:: (26/1/2008) apparently there was something after the credits rolled and also some weird thing at the end of the movie when there was the old footage of Rob and Beth on the ferris wheel. The thing at the end of the credits was apparently a garbled whisper which, when played in reverse, was someone saying "It's still alive..."

.... Right. Because everyone WOULD come prepared with a tape recorder to a movie. Right.

Sigh. Anyway aforementioned whisper here. (can't seem to post the player so I'll just post the link)

I Miss Myself

Hey guys.

I feel the urge to blog!

.....

Ok I lie, it is 4.19am and I can't sleep because I think I have food poisoning. Either that or I'm just super hungry.

I know, that doesn't make any sense. But I woke up with these horrible pains in my tummy.

fuck ow ow ow ow

*curls up into a ball and rocks back and forth*

oh... ok ok...

Shit.

Anyway the pain feels like how gastric pains would feel like. Except it's impossible that I am effing hungry! Because I was stuffing myself like crazy the whole day yesterday!!! And I know that if I eat something I would throw up, because I feel nauseous too. Actually it makes sense because I actually ate something that my sister said could've gone bad. But it seemed fine, honest!!

*flashback*
G: Eh, that one don't know whether still good or not
B: [scoffs] Seems fine to me. *chomps*
B: [mouth full] Anyway, what's the worst that can happen right?

FCKING HELL I AM SO STUPID

*cries*

----

Yes, I have not been blogging. I am sorry. =(

It's been a week since I've started UBD again. I still can't really believe that I'm in my 2nd year already. I'm a second year! I have juniors! I feel so superior!! *struts*

Nothing much that's new...

Stuff on TV:

You know what, I think that ad for the Shiny Disc Man is so sad!!! That's what he's called right? Or is it Super Shiny DVD man? I dunno. Well in case you don't know what I'm talking about, it's the one with the guy who tries to sell off DVDs but then everyone's like going, WE'VE SEEN IT ALREADY BITCH!

=(

It's sad!!! Like, give the man a break already! I would've so bought DVDs from him. He's just trying to make a living selling off DVDs! And they didn't have to be so rude!!

You know, it's a classic example how some technology can render people obsolete.

In this case, Astro On Demand is making street vendors selling pirated DVDs obsolete!! It's sad!! I mean-

What was that? You've heard it all before?? But it's a sad story-

No need to yell! I'm just trying to make-

Ok ok!! You've heard it before! I'll just... skedaddle...

*trudges away, sad violin music playing in background*

"THE STORY OF THE SAD STORY BLOGGER"

......

OH DON'T YOU GUYS JUDGE ME, THIS IS MY BLOG.

I can be as lame as I want.

Irony:

I was watching E! the other night. And I think the programme was "101 Most Starlicious Makeovers" and one of them was Britney Spears.

Yeah, I think it was a not-so-up-to-date programme. Because Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were still together. =(

Anyhooo, yeah, Britney Spears. They were saying how hers was a Starlicious Makeover because at first she was just this cutesy innocent teenybopper and suddenly she became this sex symbol? Anyway I quote one of the commentators[probably not the exact words, but the sentiment still there]:

"She just keeps getting better and better. She's hot, she's sexy, I really think that Britney is the hottest thing right now, and she's getting hotter by the minute. I mean, you just can't wait to see what she's gonna be in the future, because I think she's gonna be even hotter!"

I laughed and laughed and laughed.

Oh how the world was not ready for crazy Britney.

Another thing that I thought was really funny and ironic.

My mum for some reason still thinks I should apply for every scholarship there is available. I think it's because when I first started UBD, I was whining about how much I hated it there. Not that I love it now, but hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Anyway one day she was reading the newspaper and then she went, "Eh La, look it's a scholarship, go apply."

I took a look anyway just to humour her. What I saw at first was:

"BIBD SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME"

Then I took a closer look and saw at the end:

"FOR ORPHANS"

!!!!!!!!!!! My own mother! Like wanna curse me like that *touch wood*

I went like: OIIIII FOR ORPHANS LAH! I AM NOT AN ORPHAN!!

Mum: Oh is it? I didn't see wah.

Then she continued reading the paper while I stared at her in disbelief.

It was so funny how I was horrified. HAHAHAHAHA

Ok it's 5am now. Took me almost an hour to write this post. Thank God I have no classes later. Only this meeting for Spanish to set my timetable at noon.

Yes I am taking Spanish! *excitednesssss*

Adios amigos!
