You probably are one of the very very few people who actually laugh at the stupid lame things that I say, and for that you are one of my favourite people ever! Not to mention we are on the same wavelength most of the time (with our super sisterly psychic link!) and hanging out with you is always fun. Except when you are miss crankypants, and that would be the times that I am hiding in my room :P May this year be better than the last, with lots of good surprises coming up :) hugs!

Here We Are Again

God, I can't believe we're at the end of another year again..... I know I sound like a broken record, but it just throws me off, how time can just get away from you.

Anyway, last year I did a round-up of the year with pictures. I'm too lazy to do that this year, because it entails scouring through a boatload of photos. So I'll just ramble. :)

This year, I think I've come to appreciate my friends a little bit more. To be honest, I think before I've been sort of taking some of them for granted. Like they're good for a laugh and all that, but it just seems surfacial (I don't think that's a real word but it's the only one that fits) somehow. But... I realised that it's hard to build the kind of rapport that I have with them, and I realised that I am totally at ease with them, and that I am truly myself when around them. They laugh at my lame jokes (or maybe they're just laughing at me), we never run out of things to talk about, I don't feel uncomfortable talking about personal stuff, and it's always fun with you guys. I really am grateful that we're friends. Damn, I'm actually getting choked up. Moving on!

For the new friendships I've made, I'm grateful for you too.

I also tried to work harder (more in the second half of the year though). I'm thinking that it paid off... We'll see in a week. I think with a little bit more discipline, I'll be flying high.... Ok maybe a lot more discipline. I refuse to let myself get lost again...

Next year I want to push myself even harder. I want to be able to juggle everything and do well. I think next year will be extra busy. I've signed myself up for more working hours. I'm quitting at the end of March to concentrate on exams though, then immediately after exams, work attachment!

Two things that I'm determined to do next year is work harder and save. I figured the fruits of saving would go towards rewarding myself for working hard. :) we'll see how it goes. It's all I've been thinking about this holiday though. Hahaha, it's sad I know. But that's what I'm determined to do!

Umm I guess that's it. Sadly I won't be celebrating the end of the year with a bang, but it's okay. I'll be spending it with family. One of my little cousin's birthday falls on new year's eve (COOL RIGHT?!) so we'll be going over to their place for STEAMBOAT.

So This Is Christmas...

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL! I know this post is a little late, oh man I just looked at the time at it's 12.14am, therefore it's already 27th December. WHOOPSIE. I haven't been online much, NOT because I'm extremely busy, but rather I didn't feel inclined to go online. lol. I'VE GROWN!

hahaha. but seriously, all I've been doing for the past week is reading my many many many books. I'm home home right now so I've been rereading my old books. A bit dusty, but I love them! I love how my shelves are crammed with all sorts of genres of books. Now I look to my left and I see:

1) Bubbles Unbound by Sarah Strohmeyer (I think this is my sister's. I think it was boring.)
2) A Tale Of Two Cities by Charles Dickens (I think this book is SO sad!! and I think this book belongs to Tzen :/)
3) Killjoy by Julie Garwood (one of my many many many Julie Garwoods :D)
4) Prince Caspian by CS Lewis ( I think this belongs to my little sister.)
5) Someone Like You by Roald Dahl (A compilation of short stories by the author, and I have a feeling this was lent to me by Rinni during our PJN days...)
6) Sweet Valley University (HAHAHAhAHAHA!!! OMG CLASSIC!)
7) SHOPAHOLIC SERIESSSSSSSSSS
8) The Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman (This was given to me by my English teacher back in Form 4 when I won this story writing competition. sigh... One of the few moments of pride I've ever had in my life...)
9) Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince (Hardcover, yo!! but I lost the jacket!! T.T)

AND MANY MANY MORE!!! I don't find being labelled as a bookworm insulting. Au contraire, it is a privilege to be called as such. haha. I dunno what I'm saying. Conclusion: I LOVE BOOKS!

Hmm not a very Christmassy post methinks. meh. Oh well. I'm not feeling very christmassy this season. la dee da!

I don't know if I'm gonna go into detail here but.

27th September 2008:

I turned twenty one. The day was more or less okay. I was feeling really exhausted from having trouble sleeping two nights in a row, plus Body Jam session at the gym on Friday. So I was a bit loopy and weird and pretty much spouting nonsense the whole time.

Some birthday texts woke me up, but that ain't the worst way to get woken up right? :)

Tutorial, lecture (where the boys started to sing happy birthday but LKS walked in so I shushed them lol), lunch with Tzen (THANKS FOR LUNCH BABE) and then again at Excapade with Sheena and Grace where we were all giggly haha

I went back for a much needed nap.

Woke up to get ready for dinner.

Dinner (at OGH again) was quite fun. We had some funny conversations that I can't remember now.... but I do remember we were talking about when we were born, like who was the hardest to give birth to, what time were we born, etc. And my dad was telling us about an ailment one of my sisters had and we were asking why she had this ailment and he started to tell us that it happened before she was born.

Sisters: Huh? What do you mean?

Dad: You see, when you were conceived-

Me: I don't wanna hear this *plugs fingers into ears*

lol. I think he used the wrong word :S heh heh.

Argh. Can't remember what else. Anyhoos. Moving on.

28th September 2008:

I turned twenty one and a day! :) I had dinner plans with the gang at 6.30pm at Fratini's in KB. Tzen had asked me to pick her up so I texted her before I left home telling her that I was on my way.

So when I reached her place I gave her a call to see where she was. She picked up after a few rings.

T: Hello...?

B: Hey.. where are you??

T: omg!! I just woke up??

B: Er.. you do know that it's 6.15 right? I'm waiting outside your house.

T: ok ok! I'm so sorry!! I'll get ready now! Come up lah.

B: Nah it's okay, I'll just wait in the car.

T: Aiya come up lahh!!

B: No seriously, it's okay I'll just wait in the car. I need to call Fairuz anyway.

T: ohh.. okay then.

I hang up.

I called Fairuz. No answer.

I hung up feeling frustrated and just a little bit annoyed. I was thinking how inconsiderate it was that Tzen asked me to pick her up, and is making me wait because she didn't wake up in time, and I was also annoyed that Fairuz isn't answering my call or text. Then I started thinking, why was Tzen so adamant that I wait upstairs? If she can get ready quickly it wouldn't make sense for me to turn off the engine and walk upstairs only to go back down again?

It clicked.

OMG THEY'RE ALL UPSTAIRS AREN'T THEY!!!!

I started laughing and wondered if I should go up then. Hmmm, nah I think I'll just wait till Tzen calls me again (and I was sure she was gonna call me again if I was right)

TA-DAH my phone rings!!~

T: *nervously* I don't know what to wear!!

B: *resigned, but smiling* Okay, I'll come up

lol. Made my way upstairs. The living room was deserted. "Tzen~~" I sang out.

Her bedroom door was closed. I knocked. Tzen called out, "Come in"

And I opened the door to find darkness but the three candles lit on my birthday cake :)

"Happy Birthday Anna/Bella!" My friends said sheepishly.

It was sooo funny and soooo sweet that they had planned this out. I didn't expect this at all, and I wish I did not figure things out at the last minute ^^ YOU GUYS DID NOT COUNT ON MY LAZINESS DID YOU! HAHAHAHAH it was funny because they were arguing over whose fault it was that their plan did not work :P

But thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!! It was seriously sweet!!

Let's see I met Tzen a little over two years ago in State & Society (YUCK). She asked me for my notes, I lent them to her, and we've been inseparable ever since... LOL

It sounds stupid, but that is the truth though. :D

We had the same classes, we stayed in the same hostel block, and we basically hung out all the time.

Once, Tzen and I were heading towards our class, but I hung back a little because I was too lazy to walk fast. And Yani caught up with me and asked in a hushed voice, "What happened?" And I was like "what???" Yani: "How come you're not walking together? Did you guys argue?" And I laugheddddddddddddddd!!

I think that was when it dawned on us that we're strongly associated with each other. hahahahah

And how bout that time, that only time when we got into a real argument? And the subject of the argument was SO STUPID!!

MIB!

We had just finished an MIB lecture at Chancellor Hall, and had just fixed our hair and everything after taking off our tudungs. Coming out of the toilet....

T: Hey you've got something stuck to your kain
B: Oh? *looks down* Oh it's a sweet wrapper.

*brushes off wrapper*

Then I started to walk.

T: You're just gonna leave it there? *incredulous voice*
B: What? It's not my wrapper.
T: Yeah, but you're littering.
B: So??
T: So unethical!!

And I swear, the look on her face when she said that, like this look of disgust and disdain, really ticked me off.

B: SO? Do I look like I give a f***? It's just one tiny wrapper! I don't f***ing care!

(Yes I know my language, but I was really pissed off :P)

And at this point we were just screeching at each other. Then we fumed in silence all the way to Tzen's car (we had made plans to go eat after the lecture so we just automatically headed towards the car)

Silence.

Drove out of parking lot.

Silence.

Drove past entrance to UBD.

Silence.

Highway.

Tzen started to laugh, and I looked at her with a WTF look on my face.

T: Can you believe that we got pissed off at each other over a SWEET WRAPPER?

HAHAHA that pretty much broke the tension and I don't think we got into any other stupid arguments such as those :S But such a funny story!! :D

Anyhoos, I've went off topic but yes that is basically some of the funny times during out friendship.

Tzen is probably the first (and possibly only) person that I've met that has the same violent mood swings as I do. Tis scary! We even have a psychic mood link! Our moods can be synchronised, or influenced easily by the other's. I dunno.We're weird people :P

Anyway Tzennypoooooo Happy 21st Birthday, though your mind is waaayyyyy advanced beyond your years :P *whispers* Tzen's mind is a dark and scary place.

HAHAHAHHA I just realised whatever I've said in this post is not necessarily nice. :S

Anyhoos.

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. Happy Birthday Daddy! lol. He's 61 btw, although he certainly doesn't look it. We went out for dinner and went to JP after that to just check out what's over there. Anyway I'm too lazy to talk much so here's some pictures. :)

My sisters and I were talking about it and they were like saying, "So sayang they don't maintain the rides, makes people takut to go." And I was so blur and said, "Why takut?" because in my opinion I was like yeah sure it ain't as pretty as it once looked but it's basically the same.

G: *looking at me incredulously* Hellooo? You wanna go on the rollercoaster that has been poorly maintained?? like "So fun! Wheeeee- AARGHHHHH!!!!!" when something comes loose or something

HAHAHAHHAHA that made me laugh so hard. And we were saying that "Pusing Lagi" wouldn't be called that anymore, it would be "Pusing Sekali, Terplanting Kesana" HAHAHAHHAHA I am giggling so hard as I type this, oh mann so funny. HAHAHAH

Sunday Morning

Ello mello!!

Lordy I've been so cranky the past few days, you won' t even believe. Any little thing will set me off I tell you, LIKE A BOMB A CRAZY CRAZY BOMB!!

Anyway I know that I'm pmsing, but this is the worst that I've been. I can go to being happy and cracking lame jokes then suddenly I'm breathing fumes and about to eat someone alive. I get that angry I tell you :s HAHAHAHA scary I know :D

And I feel this uncontrollable rage inside and I just know I can just slap someone in the face.

It is Mothers' Day today!!! My mum is coming up later this afternoon :) We My sister is treating her to a massage and aromatherapy and other spa stuff today. lol I'm not quite sure but I do know my mum is in desperate need of a day of pampering. :( I love you mummy!! <3 I'm sorry for all those times I acted so spoilt :( I will have to contain the pms later!! Well there's gonna be cake so it'll be easier :D

Post-Rip Off

... dang that dinner was a rip-off.

Food: $64 (5 dishes altogether, all medium)
Rice: $2.50 (5 plates, 50 cents each)
Coke: $1.50 (from a glass, filled with ice. Not even sampai a whole can that I tell you)
7-Up: $1.50 (ditto above)
Iced Milo: $2
Watermelon juice: $7 (two glasses, $3.50 each)
Peanuts/pickles: $4 (GILA! WHAT PEANUTS/PICKLES YOU SERVE KAN?!)
Tissues: $1.50 (Those wet scented tissues kind, WHICH they offered to us. You know how they offer? They ripped open the packet and then offer to us. Like that still can refuse kan?)
Tea: ___ cents (can't remember how many cents it was, but it was insignificant compared to the others)

Total: $84.** (and something cents)
